I was reading a blog today that was dedicated fully to dolphins. Dolphin Bubbles blog has a lot of good pictures available of the dolphins down in Orlando, Florida. I first just started browsing at all of the pictures and then started to read a few posts about swimming with the dolphins. I thought it was very interesting at how people can get in the water with dolphins and these tame animals will let you ride them. After seeing this dolphin blog I wanted to have my own pet dolphin. I don’t think I have anywhere to keep a dolphin, but it would be nice to have a pet dolphin. I know I would be the only one in the neighborhood with a pet dolphin.
Dolphins are really smart and no one knows this better than the people in Orlando working with them. I wouldn’t mind having a job in sunny Orlando and getting to go swimming everyday and playing around with a few dolphins. I know it’s probably a lot of work, but looking at it from the outside it seems working with dolphins would be a really good job. It would beat digging a ditch or building a house on some type of construction job. The weather can get quite warm in central Florida, but you have the cool waters that the dolphins swim in to keep you cool. I may just have to see what type of pay a dolphin trainer would get and what types of dolphin jobs are available. I’m sure there would be a waiting list for people wanting to work with dolphins because they are such loving creatures. If you haven’t ever been to a live dolphin show before, be sure to check one out sometime and you will see just how smart these fish (I mean “mammals”) are.
