I have not tried it, but several of my friends in our college days went to one of those businesses that loaned you money when you ran short. One friend gave the business their car title to hold as a retainer for cash. Another friend used the payday loan option. Where they basically signed over their next paycheck to the business. It sounds great, but the catch was the enormous amount of interest and processing fee that was paid. My friend received a $100 check, but was only allowed $80 after paying back the payday loan business.
