When our daughter was born we had her DNA analyzed due to being born with a heart defect. We wanted to make sure that her set of blueprints was all in order. We found out that one of her chromosomes was partially missing. It is such a small nick in the chromosome that the doctors could not tell us what to expect in the future from this finding. We were told that there are probably thousands and thousands of people walking around the world that have the same chromosome with a nick missing in it. They look and act like everybody else. We pray that our daughter will grow up to be one of these people.
