After my grandfather passed away I was surprised by the phone call I received from his attorney. My grandfather had purchased term life insurance prior to his death. The beneficiary named in the insurance plan was me. The plan stated that the funds earned from the term insurance were to be used for my college education. The money that I had earned during high school to be used for my college tuition, was then placed in an account to be used in the future when I needed money for a down payment on a house. Bless my grandfather for his continuous love.
