We recently purchased term life insurance after having our second child. We decided it was important to have this additional life insurance policy in case something would happen to either one or both of us during our children’s childhoods. We wanted that extra protection that would allow our children to be well taken care of in the hopefully unlikely hood that something might happen to one or both of us.
