The first present I received my husband when we were dating for Christmas was a pearl necklace and earrings. The set was gorgeous. A pearl was surrounded by a cluster of tiny diamonds that were encased in gold. The earrings were just simple pearls. I received this present fifteen years ago, and still wear that same necklace today. The pearl earrings were replaced with diamond earrings, but still hold a very special spot in my heart. Pearls not only make a great present for that first Christmas together, but any holiday.
