When your engagement announcement is posted in the local newspaper where you grew up and are currently residing in, certainly makes the engagement seem even more real. Somehow seeing it written in black ink typed in the newspaper under the heading “Engagements” adds another dimension to the fact that you are now engaged and almost to be wed. From that initial start of wearing the engagement ring to the engagement announcements, you are taking the necessary steps to becoming husband and wife.
