My father recently called me on the phone wanting me to look for a specific part he needed for a piece of farm equipment. He lives about two hours away, and needed me to look in our area for this industrial clamp. I searched the phone book and started on somewhat of a treasure hunt. My first store I stopped at had several types on industrial clamps to choose from. I needed to call my dad and get the size, dimensions, opening capacity, load limit, and etc. I had no idea that industrial clamps had so many specific types.
