My grandfather worked in a coal mine since he was in high school. it was his life. He grew up in a mining town and mining was the life that he knew. A few years after retiring from the coal mines, he was diagnosed with mesothelioma. The years he spent working in the mines exposed him to dust particles and asbestos that attributed to the mesothelioma.
