A micro sd is a very tiny memory chip about the size of a fingernail. It is used primarily in mobile telephones. A micro sd can also be found in video game consoles, portable audio players and handheld GPS devices. The memory capacity is 64MB to 8GB. It is a format for removable flash memory cards.
